Blizzard Bag Help

There will be extra help for Blizzard Bags every day this week from 2:30-3:30. If you'd like your child to attend, please send in a not indicating a change in dismissal and who will be picking them up.  Thanks!

Harmless Holders

We are beginning an engineering project this week. The students are working to create a "harmless holder" that will be safe for animals and can be used to carry 6 soda/seltzer cans. Take a look at Mr. Musselman's blog for more info.

We will be brainstorming and planning for the next few days. Materials will be provided by the science center. With parent permission, students can also bring in any materials from home that they think might be helpful for their design.

I am so proud of them!

Blizzard Bags

The district is piloting Blizzard Bags this year. These cross-curriculum projects will be completed outside of school in exchange for two school days. There will be some after school support offered for these. Please review the expectations and the cover letter from Dr. Conti. Please contact me as questions arise! Thank you for your support.

Welcome, Ms. Small!

Today has been a very exciting day in Room 235! Ms. Small is a senior at Burlington High School. She is  thinking about becoming a teacher and wants to get some experience in a classroom. She will be attending Roger Williams University in the Fall. She is doing an internship in our classroom for about a month. She will be helping out with lessons and activities.
