Dear Room 235 Families,

Thank you to everyone who came to listen to the speeches today. Words can't describe just how proud I am of each and every student. My heart is so full! 

Each speech truly showed the child's personality. I am so impressed by the voice in their writing! Thank you for filling up our classroom to show support. All too often, we are going about our busy days & we don't take the time to reflect on all the wonderful things in our lives. It's amazing that the kids were able to do this so easily. 

I am truly fortunate to spend each day with your children! I hope that your Thanksgiving is filled with happiness, laughter, and loved ones. 

Thankfulness Speeches

The fifth graders have been reflecting on the things in their lives for which they are thankful. They are working in class to write speeches to share with you just in time for Thanksgiving.

We’d like to invite you to hear their speeches and celebrate this holiday with us. The event will take place on Tuesday, November 26^th at 9:30am in your child’s homeroom. Any family member is invited. Siblings from other grades are welcome to join with permission from the teacher. If you cannot attend, we will do our best to film the speeches so that you can see it.
